New Incentives implements the All Babies program, which incentivizes caregivers of infants to complete a series of routine, potentially life-saving childhood immunizations by providing them with a small cash transfer after each vaccine is administered. We currently operate in Northern Nigeria, where childhood immunization rates are typically lower than 50%. A randomized controlled trial (RCT) found strong evidence that the All Babies program significantly increases vaccination rates in this region.
The Program Associate supports all Operations Department activities including program oversight, monitoring and evaluation, and administrative tasks. The Program Associate is responsible for supporting review of staff productivity and output; progress against established plans; review of program monitoring indicators; coordination of geographic expansion and coverage survey analysis; and other responsibilities to ensure that the organization is able to deliver high-quality programming. This role can be based anywhere, with an expectation of spending significant time (approximately 20-30% of the year) in Nigeria. Travel will primarily be within Northern Nigeria as well as to the capital, Abuja. We have a Security Unit that actively carries out security assessments and provides security guidance. Support and reimbursement for applying for visas to travel will be provided for all required travel, along with travel insurance.
